The God Within

Yesterday was the happiest day of my life. It is the day I finally shared this knowing inside me with some else, with Chuchu. All the patience, all the waiting, all the repressed memories… all of it guided me so that I can guide her to Godhood.

Godhood is a state of oneness with everything… an infinite joy that springs forth from an uninhibited YOU.

I watched her beautiful mind build connection after connection. I watched her integrate the revelations of the past week deeply into her conscious mind and birth a unitary understanding: that the joy is always within us.

Once we free ourselves from the shackles of fear, we see that being happy is not from a learning. It’s from a remembering. I watched Chuchu be a child again, but now willfully, powerfully, and consciously — leveraging her incredible heart and her beautiful brain to activate the God within.

We reveled int he joy of being Gods together. We realized together that the feeling we had was the magnification of the present moment — that everything that you have ever done, that everything that has ever been done to you, it all led here, to now, the joy that you would feel now.

Life is a circle. Joy is a circular loop. The act of experiencing the joy allows you to appreciate that everything you have done would lead you to it. The recognition of this frees you from regret, fear, and suffering, then replaces it with appreciation and gratitude. This freedom from fear leads to joy.

Chuchu kept asking: do we need altered states of consciousness to access this? I kept insisting that we didn’t. The truth I felt — I feel even now — is that once you are in this circular loop of joy, you cannot get out of it. You know it was there and you know that to experience it is to know that the joy is always there. Experiencing the joy creates the joy.
